인터넷 댓글을 통한 프로야구 두산과 LG의 팬심 비교 = Comparison of Professional Baseball Doosan and LG Fandom through Internet Comments

Purpose This study aimed to understand the characteristics of LG Twins fans and Doosan Bears fans and identity the influence of BJ by analyzing the comments on the polarized broadcasts of Afreeca TV.
Methods Two popular BJ’s comments from three matches were selected by systematic random sampling method. Result As a result, LG's pride was strong, and the comments of 'slander self-team' category decreased compared to the past, but it was relatively higher than Doosan's. It can be seen that Doosan had a gentle cheering culture as in previous studies because of the low level of slander. The difference from Doosan's past is that many of its ‘slander opponents’ has disappeared. This is not because of Doosan's characteristics, but because of the nature of polarized broadcasting. BJ's influence was directly confirmed by the ratio of 'conversation between BJ and viewers' category, and indirectly, it was also influenced by other categories such as 'slander my team' and 'cheering my team'. Conclusion This study examined the characteristics of LG Twins fans and Doosan Bears fans in 2019, and analyzed how changes in the platform affect viewers' comments. In addition, this study suggests that the role of BJ in a new era is important in establishing the right fan culture. It has the significance of knowledge expansion in that it is possible to know the fan propensity different from the past

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적 본 연구의 목적은 일반방송에 비해 BJ(Broadcasting Jockey)의 영향력이 있는 아프리카TV 프로야구 편파중계 댓글을 분석해 두산 베어스 팬과 LG 트윈스 팬의 특성을 파악하는 것이다. 연구방법 이를 위하여 아프리카 TV 야구 편파중계 BJ 중 가장 청취자가 많은 두 방송을 채택하였고, 표본 추출은 체계적 무작위 표본법을 사용하였다. 결과 댓글 분석 결과 전반적으로 두산과 LG 팬들모두 ‘자기팀 응원-칭찬’의 댓글이 가장 많이 나타났고 비율도 컸다. LG의 경우는 ‘자기 팀 비방’이과거에 비해 줄었으나 두산보다는 여전히 상대적으로 높았다. 두산은 비방의 수위가 낮아 신사적 응원문화가 지속되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 두산의 경우 과거와의 차이점은 ‘상대 팀 비방’이 많이 사라졌는데 이는 편파중계라는 방송 플랫폼의 영향이라 판단할 수 있었다. BJ의 영향력은 두 팀의 편파방송 모두에게 나타났고, 이는 ‘BJ와 시청자간 대화’ 범주의 높은 비율로 확인할 수 있었고 ‘자기 팀비방’과 ‘자기 팀 응원-칭찬’ 등 타 범주에도 영향을 끼치고 있음을 확인하였다. ‘BJ와 시청자 간 대화’ 는 많이 이루어졌고 비율도 컸다. BJ가 시청자에게 미치는 영향력도 비교적 많이 보였다. 주로 BJ의말에 시청자가 동조하는 형식으로 드러났다. 두산 팬들은 ‘경기 상황의 아쉬움’을 그리고 LG 팬들은‘작전 제안’을 댓글로 올렸다. 결론 본 연구는 2019년 LG 트윈스 팬과 두산 베어스 팬의 특성을 살펴보고, 플랫폼의 변화가 시청자들의 댓글에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 또한 본 연구는 새로운시대의 BJ 역할이 올바른 팬 문화를 정착시키는데 중요함을 의미하며, 과거와는 다른 팬 성향을 알수 있다는 점에서 학술적인 의의가 있다
