히브리서 9장 23-26절의 수직적 구조의 종말론적 성전제의에 나타난 천지합일 사상

국문 초록 (Abstract)

구약성서의 성전제의 신학과 비교하면서 전개되는 히브리서 신학의 핵심은 그리스도의 대제사장직을 말하는 기독론에 놓여있다. 그러나 예수그리스도는 유다지파에 속하기 때문에 신학적 모순을 피하기 위하여 그의 제사장직은 아론의 제사장직보다 우월한 멜기세덱의 반차를 따르는 제사장직으로 소개된다. 즉 그리스도의 제사장직 업무는 예루살렘 성전제의에 암시된 미래의 구원을 상징하는 초월의 그림자에 해당하는 수평적 구조의 성전에서 수행하는 업무가 아니다. 도리어 육체의 죽음을 상징하는 휘장이 제거된 사람의 손으로 짓지 아니한 참 하늘의 성소에서 자신의 피를 드리는 수직적 구조의 종말론적 성전제의를 완성한다. 히브리서 9:23-26은 그리스도의 대제사장직 임무의 절정을 표현한다. 히브리서 기자는 그리스도의 승천을 하늘의 참 성소에 들어가셨다고 표현함으로서 본문에서 땅은 성소로 하늘은 지성소로 규정되고 죽음을 상징하였던 성전휘장이 그리스도의 부활로 제거되었기에 하늘과 땅, 인간과 하나님의 구별은 사라지고 일체를 형성한다. 즉 성속의 구별이 사라지고 구원은 온 인류와 온 땅에 완성된다. 더불어 그리스도인이 믿음으로 그리스도의 피를 의지해서 하늘의 성전에 들어갈 때 이미 휘장이 소멸되었기에 모든 그리스도인은 지성소까지 진입하는 대제사장이 된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The heart of the theology of the epistle to the Hebrews, developed in comparison with the temple cult in the Old Testament, stands in the christology declaring the high-priesthood of Jesus Christ. However, since Jesus Christ belongs to the family of Judah, his high priesthood is reported as that of the order of Melchizedek superior to Aaron’s. The service of Jesus Christ as a high priest is never the task carried out in the horizontal structure of the Jerusalem temple cult that functions as a symbol for futuristic salvation and a silhouette of transcendence. The author of Hebrews described Jesus Christ as celestial priest. As is generally known, there are many theological weak points in Jerusalem temple cult, because Jerusalem temple is not the true nature and reality of God’s redemption but it’s metaphor and symbol. In particular, division through the curtain between the holy and most holy places functioning as symbol of human mortality distinguishes ontologically the Creator God from man. Jesus Christ performed his priestly service by dedicating his own blood to God the eschatological temple cult of vertical structure in the true heavenly sanctuary where the curtain as emblem of death of human being is eliminated. The culmination of theological meaning about the high priesthood of Jesus Christ comes in view in Hebrews 9:23-26. The writer of Hebrews, in describing Christ’s Ascension as entry into the true heavenly sanctum, is defining earth as the holy place, heaven as the most holy place. Thanks to the elimination of curtain of the temple through Jesus Christ’s resurrection, distinction between the sacred and the profane, ontological dissimilarity between God and human being, and difference between earth and heaven have disappeared, and an organic unity is achieved. Now the reign of God is realized over all peoples and whole earth. All Christians enter the heavenly temple on the basis of the blood of Jesus Christ, they would become high priests in the presence of God.
