산림교육 프로그램이 중학생의 사회성 및 숲에 대한 태도 변화에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 산림교육 프로그램이 중학생의 사회성 및 숲에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 규명, 산림교육 효과 연구에 기초적인 자료와 체계적인 산림교육 프로그램을 제공하는 데 있다. 연구의 대상자는 광주 전남 지역의 중학교 1학년 자유학기제에 참석한 학생들이며 1회 참여자 179명과 반복(5회기) 참여자 112명에 대해 산림교육 프로그램을 실시하고 전과 후의 사회성과 숲에 대한 태도의 변화에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 산림교육 프로그램은 참여한 중학생의 숲에 대한 태도의 변화에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 특히 숲에 대한 흥미는 1회성 산림교육 프로그램 참여자보다 반복 참여자의 사후 변화 값이 높았다. 산림교육 프로그램이 중학생의 사회성 발달에 미치는 영향은, 1회성 산림교육 프로그램은 안정성을 제외한 나머지에서 유의미한 결과를 보였고, 반복적 프로그램 참여자의 사회성 변화는 모든 하위영역에서 긍정적인 변화를 보였다. 산림교육 프로그램의 만족도에 따른 사회성에서는 만족도 점수와 상관없이 1회성 및 반복적 그룹 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 연구결과 중학생의 사회성과 숲에 대한 태도의 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 초래하는 기초자료로서 산림교육 프로그램에 그 의미를 부여하고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of forest education programs on the sociality and attitude of middle school students and to provide basic data and systematic forest education programs on forest education effects. The subjects of the study were students who attended the free semester system for first-year middle school students in Gwangju, South Jeolla Province. A forest education program was conducted on 179 participants once and 112 participants in the repeat (5th cycle), and the impact on social performance and attitude toward forests before and after was compared and analyzed. Through this study, it was confirmed that the forest education program had a positive effect on the change of attitude toward forests of middle school students who participated. In particular, the interest in the forest was higher for the repeat participants than for the one-time forest education program participants. Both one-time and repetitive groups showed statistically significant results, regardless of their satisfaction scores, in terms of sociality according to the satisfaction level of the forest education program. In the sociality according to the satisfaction of the forest education program, both the one-time and the repeated groups showed statistically significant results regardless of the satisfaction score. As a result of the study, it is intended to give meaning to forest education programs as a basic data that results in a positive impact on the social skills of middle school students and their attitude toward forests.
