The purpose of this study was to classify the types and determinants of job fit and job satisfaction of the 2nd baby boomer workers. To achieve the study purpose, latent profile analysis, ANOVA, χ2 test, and multinomial logistic regression analysis were conducted using the responses of 4,522 2nd baby boomer workers of the KLoEE first wave data collected in 2021. As a result of the study, first, it was confirmed that there were four latent groups (① job level fit-average satisfaction), ② job level fit-very satisfaction, ③ low job level-average satisfaction, and ④ job level fit-satisfaction) based on job satisfaction and job suitability perception. Second, the results of the analysis of determinants of latent group showed that variables related to individual characteristics(gender, marital status, age, level of education), job characteristics (employment status, industry, job type, management position, appropriateness of working hours), and retirement and work system (possibility of continuing to work, prescribed retirement age, customary retirement) had a partially significant effect. Finally, considering the characteristics of each type of 2nd baby boomer workers based on their differences in job fit and job satisfaction perceptions, it was suggested that a cultural and institutional environment be created to ensure their continued employment.
