천연자원에서 추출한 키틴함량과 키토산의 항균활성 = Chitin Contents and Antibacterial Activity of Chitosan Extracted from Biomass

국문 초록 (Abstract)

키틴과 키토산은 지구상에서 섬유소 다음으로 많이 존재하는 천연물질임에도 불구하고 1960년대까지는 거의 무시되어 왔었다. 그러나, 이들 물질은 현재 폐수처리용 응집제, 식품 및 사료용 첨가제와 화장품 및 의약품원료로 다양하게 이용되고 있다. 이 논문은 천연물에서 키틴을 함유하고 있는 재료에서 추출하여 항균력과 산성용액에서의 점도와 농도의 상관관계를 시험하였다.

Chitin and chitosan has been almost neglected until 1960s, although they are the second largest biomass on earth. Their major use were as a natural flocculant for waste-water treatment, and partially used in the areas of food, feed industry, cosmetics and medicine. Possible sources of chitin among biomass were tested, and antibacterial activity and viscosity-concentration relationship of diluted acidic solution were examined.
