In this study, we designed a group expressive arts therapy program for migrant youth to achieve adolescent development through psycho-emotional recovery and creating subjectivity. The program consisted of 12 sessions in three phases: early, mid-term, and late. The step-by-step goal was to use self-exploration, understanding, and active interaction with others to create a subjectivity combined with the three subjectivity factors of autonomy, competence, and responsibility in the five stages of expressive arts therapy: exploration, awareness, change, growth, and integration. The initial stage encompassed motivation and rapport-building. The middle stage is included self-awareness, awareness of others, emotional exchange and interaction through interaction. The latter stages were organized around the practicing subjectivity. Group expressive arts therapy is expected to bring positive effects such as self-exploration and understanding and the create subjectivity through interaction with others. This program can be helpful for those migrant youths who experience identity confusion owning to bicultural adjustment, stress, and language barriers.
