교회와 오케스트라를 위한 음악과 음악가들 그리고 18세기 전반의 드레스덴 궁정 = Music for the Church and Orchestre, and the Dresden Court

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글의 관심은 18세기 전반부 드레스덴 궁정이라는 특별한 시간과 공간이며 이곳을 중심으로 펼쳐진 궁정의 음악문화이다. 이 음악문화의 재구성을 위해 이 시기 드레스덴 궁정을 대표하는 작곡가들, 예컨대 요한 크리스토프 슈미츠, 장밥티스트 볼루미어, 얀 다스마스 첼렌카, 요한 다비드 하이니헨 등의 삶과 음악을 추적하고 이들이 드레스덴의 음악문화를 어떤 모양과 방식으로 구축해나갔는지 기술한다. 이를 통해 이 글은 다양하고 역동적이면서 동시에 국제적인 당대 독일어권 음악문화의 중심지 드레스덴에 더욱더 주목할 필요가 있다는 사실을 역설하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study focuses upon the music and musicians of Dresden court at the first half of 18th century. During the period, the Dresden court was one of the most interesting and exciting places of Germany. It employs some of the most representative composers of the time, thereby exhibiting highly refined, sophisticated, and up-to-date musical culture that distinguishes itself from the remaining German territories. By tracing the lifes of and works by Heinichen, Zelenka, Volumier, and Schmidt, I argue that the court creates a truly cosmopolitan place in which Italian opera, French drama, Lutheran and Catholic liturgical music intermingle from one another.
