국제 표준안 기반의 교육 컨텐츠 패키징 시스템 구현 = An Implementation of Instructional Contents Packaging System based on International Compliance

The evolution of information technologies and the rapid growth of the Internet users are expanding the application areas of web. The Internet becomes a catalyst to teach and learn on-line as well as off-line, and other computer-related media such as CD-Rom's and Web contents has become valuable educational resources.
Various international consortiums and standardization organizations including IMS, AICC, IEEE, and ADL are trying to unify courseware formats based on XML and metadata for developing contents to encourage the use educational contents and thereby overcome the crisis in the contents industry.
This thesis implements a system that will package contents based on IMS metadata and XML and realizes the web environment for the reuse of the educational contents.
The system implemented in this paper makes it possible to create instructional contents that satisfies international standards and to share and reuse contents on the Web, thereby contents on the Web, therby contributing ot the improvement of the quality of education.
