      복잡계 이론에서 본 주역과 그 메타적 세계관 -동아시아적 사유원형의 모색을 중심으로- = The Book of Changes and Its Meta World-view from the Perspective of Complexity Theory: Focused upon Groping an Archetype of East-Asian Thinking

      The essay is focused upon suggesting a meta-theory of Changes and its content and observing an open system for the world-view of Changes through a mechanism of complexity theory. It is intended to re-illuminate a way to think about Changes for the purpose of the grouping of an archetype of East-Asian thinking. What I call a way of thinking about Changes is a method of metaphysics deduced from an understanding concerning the Book of Changes and its world-view. The way of thinking about Changes is an eccentric pivot in terms of Change and Penetration. The view of Change and Penetration projects an order of heaven revolution and implicitly reflects human recognition of it, which has a universal horizon of orientation for the human community. It is classified into the ontology of heaven and earth, the epistemology of Qian and Kun, the axiological Way of Changes. They can be understandable in the context of the dissipating principle in complexity theory, which is based upon a process of self-organization and a mode of emergence. The view of Change and Penetration has three categories that make up the realm of its dissipating principle: a structure, a mode and the realization of dissipation. It appears that the Way of Changes, in the topology of co-evolution, is a process of the groping of the fittest points to the settle various problems of a complex community. Therefore, it is an axiological canon and a measure of self-realization. Hence, it is based upon an intersection between the traditional world-view of East-Asia and the modern thinking of science; it follows that it is a modernization of oriental philosophy in an open horizon of universality. Under the great premise of searching for new 21C paradigm, I think, it is to run after two rabbits, that is, groping an archetype of East-Asian thinking and modernizing a thinking way of Change.
