광택 측정을 통한 즉석사진 안정성 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

즉석사진 이미지의 광택을 측정하여 화질을 평가하는 방법으로 사용하였다. 촬영 방법이나 얻어진 색 상에 따라 광택값이 다르게 측정되었으나, 외관상 매우 광택이 높다는 선입견과는 달리 다른 고광택 이미지 에 비하여 조금 낮은 광택을 나타내었다. 즉석사진 이미지에 열이나 습기, 다림질과 같은 손상요인을 가하였 지만 광택값은 감소하지 않았고 오히려 다소 향상되는 경향을 보였다. 다만 초산에 담가 온풍으로 말리자 광 택값이 감소하는 현상을 나타냈는데 약품에 의한 이미지나 코팅막의 손상이 의심되었다. 이와 달리 카탈로그 이미지는 언급된 손상요인들 모두에 대하여 광택의 감소를 주었으며 특히 초산에 담근 경우 광택값이 절반으 로 감소하였다. 즉석사진은 상이 불안정하다는 편견과 달리 광택 측정에 있어서는 여러 손상요인에 대하여 매우 안정하며 이런 성질을 이용한다면 보다 다양한 분야에서의 이미지 보관에 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Gloss values were measured to evaluate the quality of instant film images. Different values were given on different colors and by the way of taking pictures. But the numbers are not very high compared with those of other high gloss images. Heat, humidity and ironing did not lower the gloss of instant film images. A small decrease were observed when it was soaked in 1.0M acetic acid for 10 seconds and dried with a hair drier, which suspects possible impair of image and/or coating materials. On the other hand a catalogue image showed a decrease in gloss with every activities. Particularly, its gloss decreased to almost half in case of the acetic acid with drying. Instant film images are very stable against various impairing conditions with respect to the gloss values, which is different from the public injustice. They are expected to be more used for the image storage in various fields considering its durability.
