지역 교육환경에 대한 주민 인식과 요구 분석 - 충청북도 11개 시·군을 중심으로 - = A Study on the Residents' Perceptions and Needs for Local Educational Environments - Focusing on 11 Cities and Counties in Chungcheongbuk-do -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지역 교육환경에 대해 지역민들이 어떤 인식과 요구를 갖고 있는지 분석함으로써 지역 교육환경 개선 및 교육 서비스 설계의 시사점을 도출하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구에서는 연령, 성별, 거주지(시·군)에 따라 716명의 충청북도 도민을 설문 응답자로 표집하였으며, 이들의 설문 응답결과를 통계 분석 및 워드 클라우드 도출 기법으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 주민 요구의 특성에착안하여 지역별 특화 환경을 구축할 필요가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 청년 취·창업, 일자리 문제와 연계한 교육환경 개선이 필요한 것으로 드러났다. 셋째, 학교 시설 복합화에 대한 요구를 다각적으로 수용할 필요성이 제시되었다. 넷째, 응답자들이 지닌 전 생애에 걸친 교육 지원 요구가 확인되었다.
다섯째, 공교육 질 개선에 대한 요구가 뚜렷하게 확인되었다. 연구 결과에 따라 지역 맞춤형 교육환경구축에 관해 더욱 활발한 논의가 이어지기를 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was to analyze the awareness and needs of local residents about the local educational environments in order to draw implications for improving the local education. 716 residents of Chungbuk were selected based on age, gender, and region of residence (city/county), and the results of their responses were analyzed using statistical tools and word cloud derivation techniques. As a result, first, it is necessary to build a specialized environment for each region based on the residents' needs. Second, we need to improve the educational environment in connection with the employment and job issues of youth. Third, we need to accommodate various needs for complexifying school facilities. Fourth, participants' needs for lifelong education were identified. Fifth, there is a clear need to improve the quality of public education. We hope that there findings would stimulate further discussions on how to improve localized education environments.
