Variety of events happens around the sidewalk in the city. Most businesses occur around the sidewalk as wellbut it causes an obstruction of economical revitalization since the pedestrians require time and cost to find what they want. But, one can expect the restoration of the shopping area if one can minimize the economical loss of shoppers by providing the real-time significant path and supporting the walking movement. This study will develop the path searching method for the pedestrians.The main part of the path searching can be divided into two sections; map (network) organizing skill and the path searching algorithm. Since there was no previous research data, which judges the optimal path for the pedestrians, these two sections need to be studied.By considering an existing network expression technique, one finds out that the node-link technique is appropriate and sorts out the factors, which have an effect on the pedestrians. The three points were sorted and approached and these points are physical and environmental factor, the recognition of the pedestrians’ space when changing the direction, and the recognition of restriction of vision and accessibility.By considering the path searching technique used in the existing traffic network, one finds out that link-based algorithm is suitable so the network is formed and simulated. As a result, it is now possible to do the path searching that considers variety of recognition factors and the optimal path can be calculated assuming that the traffic cost is appropriate.
