중국과의 교육출판 교류 협력 방안 연구 : 연변 조선족 자치주를 중심으로 = A Study on Measures to Promote Exchange in Educational Publishing with China : Focusing on Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to seek measures to promote exchanges and cooperation in educational publishing between Korea and China, particularly ethnic Koreans living in China. To do so, it examines the industry characteristics in both countries and the bilateral exchanges that have been going on in the past, particularly focusing on Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. Both Koreans and ethnic Koreans living in China have seen decreasing demand for education due to a sharp drop in the population resulting from low birth rates and their entry into a super-aged society. Accordingly, this study suggests the following measures for exchanges and cooperation in the field of educational publishing as a way to resolve the problems that have arisen therefrom. First, the exchanges should be made on a regular basis with a long-term perspective. Second, they should be set up in a way that can develop the educational culture, rather than merely highlighting the educational aspect. Third, they should focus on building a win-win partnership instead of providing one-sided support. Lastly, it is necessary to promote Korea’s advanced education system to ethnic Koreans living in China in order to nurture talents who reflect the values in today’s society, such as creativity and expertise.
