24절기를 활용한 농촌마을축제 활성화 방안 = An Activation Planning of the Farm Village Festivals with the 24 Seasonal Divisions of the Year

The purpose of this study is to set up festival programs suitable for 24 seasonal divisions of the year in view of Korean traditional customs, and to provide plans for recovering the intrinsic value of the festival and revitalizing rural villages. According to the research method, there were literature review for reviewing theories on festivals and theoretical contents on Korean traditional customs by the divisions, examination into experience programs on the homepage of each village and investigation of contents on experience programs and festivals through field survey/interview. Then, in view of the experience program setting for 24 seasonal divisions and the current status of festival/experience programs of target villages, the relevance between the target villages and 24 seasonal divisions was confirmed to set up festivals suitable for the villages by each seasonal division. Accordingly, it helps networking villages through an increase in public interests of rural tourism villages, Cheongwon-gun, and interests of each village, as well as revitalization of village festivals.
