The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of teacher efficacy on the relationships between perfectionism and job stress in middle school teachers. 472 teachers working in 15 middle schools were sampled in the study. Pearson's product moment correlation coefficients were calculated to examine the relationships between perfectionism, teacher efficacy, and job stress. Controlling the demographic variables which are correlated with the dependent variables: job stress, the effects of perfectionism, teacher efficacy, job stress, and the interaction term of perfectionism and teacher efficacy on the job stress were tested in the series of hierarchical multiple regression analyses. There is significant relationships between perfectionism and job stress in middle school teachers. In addition, teacher efficacy and job stress of middle school teachers show a significant relationships. Finally, there is no moderating effect of teacher efficacy on the relationship between perfectionism and job stress in middle school teachers. In other words, the moderating effect of the teacher efficacy was not found in the relationships between the perfectionism and the job stress. It implies that perfectionism and teacher efficacy are independent each other and affect respectively to their job stress. The implications of the findings were presented, especially for the direction of reducing the teacher 's job stress.
