      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      Russia’s potential for development in renewable energy such as wind, solar and hydro is very high. However, Russia is not actively developing these green resources. For the time being, strategies based on traditional energy sources are expected to continue, and renewable energy is expected to play only an auxiliary role.
      This government’s view is reflected in the strategy of energy public corporations, with Rosneft and Gazprom responding by reducing carbon emissions by utilizing renewable energy sources within the company rather than actively developing renewable energy resources. These companies have large amounts of traditional energy sources, so short-term energy conversion is not profitable. On the other hand, companies with high involvement in innovative fields such as Rosatom, Rosnano, and RusHydro are actively investing in wind and solar power, and technology exchanges with foreign companies are also active. The Russian government, which sees the renewable energy sector as an area of new industries and technology development, is responding to the growth and development of the renewable energy sector through these companies.
