초등 예비교사 대상 해외 한국어교육 실습 프로그램 연구 - 우즈베키스탄에서의 사례를 중심으로 = A Study of Overseas Korean Teaching Practicum Program for Elementary Preservice Teachers - Focusing on Teaching in Uzbekistan

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는, C교육대학교가 2023년 하계 방학 기간에 우즈베키스탄의 타슈켄트에서 실시한 교육봉사 프로그램을 중심으로 초등 예비교사 양성 과정에서 해외 한국어교육 실습 프로그램이 지니는 교육적 의의를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이 사례에서 초등 예비교사들은 타슈켄트에 있는 초․중등 통합학교 두 곳에서 현지 학생들을 대상으로 한국어로 한국어 및 타 교과 수업을 진행하였다. 이 프로그램에는 C교육대학교에 재학 중인 예비교사 20명과 만 6세에서 15세까지 다양한 연령대의 현지 학생 120명이 참여하였다. 또한 모든 수업에는 한국어를 전공하고 있는 현지의 대학생 6명이 보조강사로 참여하여 예비교사와 현지 학생들 간의 의사소통이 원활히 이루어질 수 있도록 도와주었다. 이번 한국어교육 실습 프로그램의 교육적 효과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 사전교육을 통해 예비교사들은 한국어 수업에 대해 전반적으로 이해하고 현지 실습을 준비할 수 있었다. 그리고 예비교사들은 우즈베키스탄에서의 실습 과정에서 내용 지식과 교수 및 지도, 태도 등 모든 측면에서 성장할 수 있었다고 평가했다. 한국어교육 실습이 끝난 후에 예비교사들은 교육적 효능감이 향상되었다고 답했으며, 한국어 교수 전문성, 학제 간 융합교육 역량, 교사로서 자기 효능감, 글로벌 역량을 갖추어야 할 필요성을 인식하게 되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines the educational significance of the overseas Korean language teaching programs as apart of the elementary pre­service teacher training by focusing on an educational service program conducted by the C University of Education in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, during the summer in 2023. In this case, the pre­service teachers taught the Korean language as well as other subjects to the local students in Korean at two integrated elementary and secondary schools in Tashkent. The program involved 20 pre­service teachers from C University of Education and 120 local students ages 6 to 15. In addition, six local university students who majored in Korean participated in all the classes as assistant teachers to facilitate communication between the pre­service teachers and the local students. The educational effects of the Korean language teaching practicum program were as follows. First, the pre­service training provided the pre­service teachers with a general understanding of the Korean language teaching practice and prepared them for the fieldwork, and then the pre­service teachers evaluated their skills as to whether they were able to grow in all the aspects of their teachingt knowledge, teaching practices and instruction, and attitudes toward teaching during the practicum. After the practicum, the pre­service teachers reported that their teaching efficacy had improved, and they recognized their need to develop the Korean language teaching expertise, as well as interdisciplinary teaching competence, teacher self­efficacy, and global competence.
