김포 조강치군패의 형성과 연행면모 = The Formation and Performance of the Gimpo Cho Gangchi Gun Squad

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 조강에 인접한 마을에서 전승되는 치군패의 형성 및 배경과 연행 면모에 관한 연구이다. 치군패는 농악패의 다른 명칭으로 확인된다. 농악은 다양한 기능에 걸맞게 명칭도 굿, 매구, 두레, 금고, 취군 등으로 나타난다. 대부분의 명칭은 의미를 해석한데 비하여 취군은 행진음악을 연주하는 악대로 소개하는 정도에 머물고 있어 아직 의미가 불분명하며, 활동이나 연행 등의 면모도 구체적이지 않다.
이 연구는 김포 조강 치군패의 형성과 연행 면모를 찾으려는 시론적인 글이다. 치군은 취군과 관련된다. 대부분 취군으로 기록되어 있다는 점에서 치군은 와음의 결과로 추정된다. 근대 조선인 극장에서 홍보를 담당하였던 악대가 취군이었다. 아울러 곶창굿에 참여하는 강화도의 치군패, 곶창굿과 더불어 놀이판을 벌였던 연천 고랑포구의 취군패, 김포 강령포구의 치군놀이와 조강포구의 치군패의 존재를 확인하였다. 현재 김포의 일부 지역에서만 실낱같이 이어지고 있는 치군패가 연구의 대상이 된다. 치군패의 토대가 되는 포구의 형성과 번성의 원인을 찾기 위하여 조강의 자연 및 인문 지리적인 조건을 검토하였다. 그 결과 김포 조강 연안 마을에 포구가 형성되고 치군패가 활발하게 된 이유를 도출하였다.
본 연구 결과 치군패의 의미는 아직도 불분명하다. 아울러 활동의 면모도 구체적이지 않다. 그럼에도 불구하고 취군 혹은 치군은 서로 공통점을 가지고 있으며, 그 공통점은 농악과도 관련된다는 사실을 밝힐 수 있었다. 근대 서울의 극장에서 활약하였던 취군, 강화도 곶창굿에 참여한 치군패, 연천 고랑포의 취군, 김포 강령포와 조강포의 치군놀이와 치군패의 사례들은 서로 다른 명칭 및 여건에도 불구하고 상호 공통되는 부분을 가지고 있다는 점에 도달하였다.

This article is a study on the formation, background, and practical aspect of the Chigunpae handed down in villages adjacent to Jogang. Chigunpae is identified as a different name for Nongakpae. The names appear as Exorcism, Maegu, Dure, Gojang, and Chugun, suitable for various functions. While most of the names interpret the meaning, the meaning is still unclear as the Chugun remains at the level of introduction as a band that plays marching music, and the aspect of activities and performances is not specific.
This article has a poetic character about Cheogun or Chi-gun. We tried to find the formation and performance of the Gimpo Chogun Chigun. Chigun is related to Cheogun. Chigun is presumed to be the result of Waeum in that most of them are recorded as Cheogun. The band that was in charge of public relations at the modern Korean theater was Cheogun. In addition, the existence of the Cheogun Pae of Ganghwa Island participating in Gotchang-gut, the Cheogun Pae of Yeoncheon Gorang-gu, which played a game with the Cheogun Pae of Gimpo Gangnyeong-gu, and the Chigun Pae of Jogang-gu was confirmed. Currently, the target was focused on the Chigunpae, which continues only in some areas of Gimpo. The natural and human geographical conditions of the Jogun were reviewed to find the cause of the formation and prosperity of the port, which is the basis of the Chigunpae. As a result, the reason why a port was formed in the village along the Jogun coast of Gimpo and the Chigunpae became active was derived. As a result of this study, the meaning of Chi-gunpae is still unclear. In addition, the aspect of the activity is not specific. Nevertheless, it was revealed that the Cheogun or Chi-gun have something in common with each other, and that the commonality is also related to Nongak. The cases of Cheogun, who played an active role in the theater in modern Seoul, Cheogun, who participated in Gotchang-gut in Ganghwa-do, Cheogun in Yeoncheon Gorangpo, and Cheogunnori and Chigun in Gimpo and Gangpo reached the point that despite different names and conditions, they had something in common.
