2009 개정 고등학교 교육과정의 ‘진로 집중 과정’ 설계 방안 탐색 = A Study on Designing the effective scheme for organizing and implementing Pathway-focused course in 2009 Revised High School Curriculum

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 일반 고등학교 학생들의 진로와 적성에 적합한 ‘진로 집중 과정’ 의 구체적인 설계 방안을 제안함으로써 학교 현장에서의 실천을 돕고 진로 집중 과 정의 내실화를 도모하는 데 있다. 학교 현장의 실제 진로 집중 과정 편성 현황과 선 행연구를 통해 진로 집중 과정(안)을 설계하였으며, 1, 2차 전문가 의견조사를 통해 진로 집중 과정(안)의 타당성을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 일반 고등학교의 진로 집중 과정은 4개 계열(인문사회, 자연이공, 예체능, 기타), 10개 과정(인문, 사회, 경상, 자 연, 공학, 의약, 예술(음악), 예술(미술), 체육, 기타)으로 제안되었다. 연구 결과에 기초하여 진로 집중 과정을 내실있게 편성․운영하기 위한 정책 제 언으로, 세분화된 진로 집중 과정과 대학입학전형 간의 협응도 제고, 고교-대학 간 교육과정 정보 교류 및 대입 전형 방식의 타당성 제고를 위한 국가 및 시․도교육청 차원의 협의체 구성, 학교 현장의 활용도 제고를 위한 ‘진로 집중 과정 편성 매뉴얼’ 개발․보급, 대학의 전공 계열 및 계열별 필수 이수 과목의 내용 범위에 대한 체계화 연구, 진로 집중 과정의 현장 정착과 학교 업무 체계의 효율성 담보를 위한 교원 수 급 방안 마련 등을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to suggest the scheme for the organization and implementation of Pathway-focused course of the general high school in the 2009 revised curriculum. This study constructs the effective scheme for organizing and implementing Pathway-focused course through investigating the current practice concerned with Pathway-focused course in general high schools. The validity of this constructed scheme was examined two times by a group of specialists consisting of teachers, curriculum specialists, and university professors. As a result, this study suggests that 4 departments(Humanities․Social Studies, Natural Sciences․Engineering, Art․PE, the Others) and 10 courses(Humanities, Social Studies, Economics․Business, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Medical․Pharmaceutical Sciences, Music, Fine Arts, PE, the Others) should be established for Pathway-focused course in the general high school. Based on the results of research, this study designates the following strategic supports for the successful implementation of Pathway-focused course ; First, it is necessary to consider the coordination between segmental Pathway-focused course and admissions to the university for ensuring internal stability of Pathway-focused course of general high schools. Second, it is necessary to establish the council at the level of the nation or MPEAs for the active interchange of information between high schools and universities. Third, it is necessary to promote the final scheme for Pathway-focused course to high schools. Fourth, it is necessary to conduct the study on ‘courses and contents in a field of specialization’ for the field utilization of Pathway-focused course. Lastly, it suggested facilitating the demand and supply of teachers.
