<AbsText> THE success achieved by the Hon. L. J. Bathurst in the Exmoor country seems very much like being repeated in Hertfordshire. The Puckeridge begin the season with the best and brightest of prospects. A capital period of cubhunting has to be recorded, foxes are plentiful, and the farmers in Herts and Essex are apparently agreed that, bad times or not, foxhunting must go on. All differences, too, have disappeared under the kindly rule of Mr Bathurst, and those who heretofore used to wait for one another with big sticks now almost fall upon each others&apos; necks-- they fall amicably on one anothers&apos; land, at any rate, as being the nearest thing to it. </AbsText>
