1914년 『婦人護身術』 수록 기술과 강도관 유도 및 천신진양류 유술의 비교 = A Comparison of Techniques Featured in the 1914 『Fujin Goshinjutsu』 and Kodokan Judo and Tenjin Shinyo-ryu Jujutsu

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 20세기 초반 여성 사회 진출 운동의 귀중한 사료로서 1914년에 발행된 『婦人護身術』의 기술들과 강도관 유도 그리고 천신진양류 유술 기술을 비교하여 특징 및 구성 체계를 확인하고자 한다. 『婦人護身術』 원본 자료를 비롯한 강도관 유도와 천신진양류 유술의 문헌 및 영상 자료를 수집하여 문헌고찰법 및 내용 분석법을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 『婦人護身 術』 수록 12개 유술 기술에 대해 강도관 유도는 유사 기술 9개, 동일 기술 3개로 총 12개였다. 둘째, 『婦人護身術』 수록 12개 유술기술에 대한 천신진양류 유술은 유사 기술 6개, 동일 기술 3개로 총 9개였다. 셋째, 강도관 유도의 1985년 제정 고쿄노와자 분포를 통해 『婦人護身術』의 발행 당시 기술 난이도를 고려한 단계별 구성이 나타나며, 저자 노하타 쇼와가 천신진양류 유술 이외의 유파를수련하여 기술의 유사도에 차이점을 보이지만, 비교적 후대에 창시되었으며 지속적인 기술 개정을 거친 강도관 유도에서는 다양한 기술들이 추가되어 『婦人護身術』의 모든 수록 기술과 유사한 기술을 폭넓게 포함하게 되었다.

This study aims to identify the characteristics and composition system by comparing the techniques of the 『Fujin Goshinjutsu』 published in 1914 with Kodokan Judo and Tenjinshinyō-Ryū Jujutsu as valuable historical sources of the women’s movements to advance into society in the early 20th century. Literature review and content analysis methods were conducted by collecting literature and video data of Kodokan Judo and Tenjinshinyō-Ryū Jujutsu, including the original data of 『Fujin Goshinjutsu』. The conclusion of this study was as follows. First, there were a total of 12 Kodokan Judo techniques for the 12 techniques included in 『Fujin Goshinjutsu』, with 9 similar techniques and 3 indentical techniques. Second, there were total 9 Tenjinshinyō-Ryū Jujutsu techniques for the 12 techniques included in 『Fujin Goshinjutsu』, 6 similar techniques and 3 indentical techniques. Third, through the edition of Gokyo no Waza as established in 1985 by Kodokan Judo, it is evident that the publication of 『Fujin Goshinjutsu』 considered a step-by-step composition based on the difficulty level of techniques at the time. Although the author, Showa Nohata, trained in Jujutsu other than Tenjin Shinyō-Ryū, resulting in differences in technique similarity, Kodokan Judo, which was founded relatively later and has undergone continuous technical revisions, has incorporated a wide range of techniques, including those similar to all the techniques recorded in Fujin Goshinjutsu』.
