This study is about Statistical tlJ.I11 style analysis, based on Barry Salt' s method, He uses Average Shot Length, Scale of Shot distribution, Reverse Angle Cutting rate, camera movement distribution as the key analysis Factors for film style analysis. He applies these factors in historical and directorial film style analysis.
This study closely looks at his method in terms of time perception in 111m and applies his method to analyze Tsai Ming-Liang s (Vive L' amour). And then, with the limitation of Barry Salt's method, this study tries to combine quantity and quality analysis On film style, focusing on time perception in film.
