Abstract: Stress management is critical for the prevention of health risks, as well as stress itself. This study aimed to investigate the changes in the spatial dependency of the stress perception rate, analyze the hotspot areas with a high-stress perception, and suggest policy measures for stress management from the community public health perspective. Using Community Health Statistics data from Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we analyzed the stress perception rate of 243 districts in Korea for 10 years, from 2012 to 2021. The spatial autocorrelation analysis showed that Moran’s index of stress perception rate was more than 0.189 in every year. This result indicated that there were regional clusters of stress perception rate at the district level and it has been maintained for the last 10 years. From the hotspot analysis, the districts of metropolitan areas, such as Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province were identified as hotspot areas with a high-stress perception rate. The findings of this study emphasize the identification of priority areas and consideration of regional clusters for stress management. For effective public health interventions on stress management, consistent and integrated stress management is required through close cooperation and collaboration within hotspot regions with high stress perception, rather than single regional efforts.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 10년 간 우리나라 시군구 단위 스트레스 인지율의공간 의존성 변화 및 핫스팟 분석김 예 은**ㆍ이 희 원***ㆍ박 종 호****

연구 목적: 이 연구는 최근 10년 간 우리나라 시군구 단위 스트레스 인지율의 공간 의존성 변화를 파악하고, 스트레스 인지율이 높은 핫스팟 지역을 분석하여 공간적 특성이 반영된 지역사회 스트레스 관리의 정책적 방안을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다.
연구 방법: 2012년부터 2021년까지 질병관리청 지역건강통계의 시군구별 스트레스 인지율 표준화 지표 결과를 수집하여 공간적 자기상관 분석 및 핫스팟 분석을 실시하였다.
연구 내용: 공간적 자기상관 분석 결과 스트레스 인지율의 Moran’s 지수는 매년 0.189 이상으로 우리나라 시군구 단위 스트레스 인지율은 공간성 의존성이 존재하며, 최근 10년간 매년 공간적 의존성이 유지되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 공간통계기법인 핫스팟 분석 결과 스트레스 인지율이 높은 핫스팟 지역은 서울, 인천, 경기 등 수도권의 시군구 지역으로 나타났다.
결론 및 제언: 지역사회의 효과적인 스트레스 관리를 위해서는 일개 시군구 단위에서 자체적으로 스트레스 관리 사업을 수행하는 것보다 스트레스 인지율이 높은 핫스팟 지역 그룹 간의 협력 및 협업을 통해서 일관되고, 통합적인 스트레스 관리 사업을 수행하여 스트레스 관리에 대한 공간적 상호작용을 극대화하는 것이 필요하다.
