This study intended to determine whether the “sports massage combined with exercise therapy” is effective for the pain in the neck and shoulders caused by excessive use of smartphone. 12 subjects who experience the pain in the neck and shoulders due to excessive use of smarpthone were selected and divided into two groups of 6, the “sports massage combined with exercise therapy” group and “sports massage only” group, and were treated 3 times a week for 8 weeks, total 24 times, and pain reduction and satisfaction for pain treatment program were measured based on the pain rating index using Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were measured along with T-test in order to examine the general characteristics of the subjects, the degree of pain and the difference in the satisfaction for pain treatment program in relation to the frequency of the application of pain treatment program were put under post-verification using cross analysis and Duncan method, and the data produced were processed with the statistics program, SPSS/WIN 18.0. The empirical analyses of this study were verified at the significance level of p<.05, p<.01, and p<.001.shown that muscular endurance, muscular strength, and cardio-respiratory endurance had a significant effect, in the logistic regression of effects which health-related physical fitness had on obesity determinants.
