『시경(詩經)』 속 춤동작의 문예적 표현 탐구 = Shijing 時經 Explore Literary Expressions of Dance Moves

This paper aimed to extract the literary expression of the dance movement language of 『詩經』 and find out its meaning to lay the aesthetic foundation of dance. So The study extracted the language of dance movements and carefully examined the meanings of the languages through various applications.
As a result, the study was able to extract “踊躍” depicting fast and agile dance moves, “蹲蹲” expressing dance moves that were not tied to theft, “僊僊” depicting unformed movements of dance, or “醉舞,” or “僛僛,” which was used to describe tasks that were performed at parties, or when the bird spread its wide sleeves on both sides In particular, the dance moves that shake and run violently, such as the shaman’s grooved gestures, and the dance moves that give a somewhat dreamlike feel under the moonlight at night are drawing attention in that the character of 巫舞 is a strongly expressed dance movement language.
『詩經』’s 詩語 has had a great influence on intellectuals of East Asia, and it can be found in their literature. The meaning of 『詩經』’s 詩語 has changed somewhat today, but it is largely the same in the big picture. Therefore, 『詩經』 is the origin of East Asian dance moves.
This study is meaningful in that it provided the foundation for building the language of dance movements from the pub. It is meaningful in that it provided the basis for starting aesthetic examination of dance in dance movements, which are the most basic and core of dance.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 『시경(詩經)』에 전하는 춤동작을 묘사한 문예적 표현을 추출하고 그 의미를 탐구하여 춤의 미학적 토대를 마련하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이에 『시경』에 전하는 춤동작의 문예적 표현을 추출하고, 이어서 여러 註释을 바탕으로 그 언어들의 의미를 면밀하게 살펴보았다.
그 결과 빠르고 날렵한 도약의 춤동작을 묘사한 ‘용약(踊躍)’, 절도에 얽매이지 않고 여유 있게 덩실거리는 춤동작을 표현한 ‘준준(蹲蹲)’, 정형화 되지 않은 취무(醉舞)의 모습을 묘사한 ‘선선(僊僊)’을 추출했고, 또 잔치 자리에서의 취무의 모습을 묘사할 때에도 쓰이고, 또는 새가 날갯짓을 하듯 넓은 소매를 양옆으로 펼치며 너울너울 춤추는 회무(回舞)를 묘사할 때에도 쓰인 ‘기기(僛僛)’ 등을 추출할 수 있었다. 특히 무당의 신들린 몸짓과 같이 격렬하게 몸을 흔들고 뛰고 도는 춤동작과 늦은 밤 달빛 아래에서 다소 몽환적인 느낌을 주는 춤을 묘사한 ‘파사(婆娑)’는 무무(巫舞)의 성격이 강하게 표현된 춤동작 언어라는 것을 확인하였다.
『시경』의 시어는 동아시아 전 영역의 지식인들에게 많은 영향을 끼쳤고, 그 증거는 그들의 문헌에서 확인할 수 있다. 의미가 다소 바뀐 것도 있지만 큰 틀에서 보면 대동소이하다. 그러므로 『시경』은 동아시아 춤동작 언어의 시원이라고 할 수 있다.
이 글은 춤동작 언어를 구축하기 위한 초석을 그 시원에서부터 다지고자 했다는 점에서 의미가 있으며, 연구 결과를 발판으로 춤의 가장 기본이자 핵심인 춤동작에서 춤의 미학적 고찰을 시작할 수 있는 근거를 마련했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
