For this research, 200 of married women from 20s to 50s living in G si now in 2008, were selected through stratified cluster random sampling.
For examining the relationship between participation in fitness club activity and life satisfaction for married woman, the questionnaire draft was made on the basis of the questions used in Sujung Park(1996), and Chulhwa Lee(1995)'s researches. And for examining the life satisfaction, 40 questions, developed by Kammann & Flett(1983) and designed close to Caplovitz(1965)'s "Affect Balance Scale" for 10 factors, were selected. As an internal accordance of questionnaire with Life satisfaction measurement, Cronbach's 'a' reliably showed 96 that it was used in this research.
The investigation and One-way ANOVA analysis on how the fitness club participation(based on the frequency, amount of time, intensity of it) and program affect their life satisfactions lead to following conclusions.
1. First, in the relationship between the trait of population statistics and life satisfaction, well-educated woman tends to have higher life satisfaction and the result is statistically distinguished.
2. Second, In the relationship between the frequency of participation in the fitness club activity and the life satisfaction, married woman who participates the fitness club activity everyday tends to have higher life satisfaction and the result is statistically distinguished.
3. Third, in the relationship between the period of time of the participation in fitness club activity, there is no distinguished trait in general and the result is statistically undistinguished.
4. Forth, in the relationship between the total amount of time for the participation in fitness club activity and life satisfaction, the longer the woman participates, the lower she is satisfied with society, which means the result is statistically distinguished.
5. Fifth, in the relationship between the fitness club program and life satisfaction, jazz dance ranks the highest in society satisfaction, and the result is statistically signifiant.
Based on all the results above, it is clear that educated level is in proportion to life satisfaction. Also, it is convincible that though frequency of participation in fitness club activity is in proportion with society satisfaction, the amount of time for the activity is out of proportion with society satisfaction.
