초등학교에서 교사의 성이 편중된 체육 수업을 경험한 학생의 인식 = Student\ s Perception of the Physical Education Classes Where the Characteristic of Teacher is Preponderated in Gender from Elementary School.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 교사의 성이 편중된 체육 수업을 경험한 학생의 인식을 분석하여 체육 수업에서 교사의 편중된 성이 학생들에 미치는 교육적인 영향 및 효과를 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해, 3학년부터 6학년까지 남자 교사에게서만 체육 수업을 받은 남․녀 학생 각 1명과, 여자 교사에게서만 체육 수업을 받은 남․녀 학생 각 2명 총 6명의 연구 참여자를 대상으로 수업 관찰, 심층 면담, 문서 자료를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 사례 기록과 귀납적 범주 분석 방법에 의해 분석되었고, 자료의 진실성을 높이기 위하여 구성원간 검토, 동료간․전문가 협의, 다각도 분석법을 이용하였다. 연구 결과 교사의 성이 편중된 체육 수업을 경험한 학생의 인식은 교과관, 교사관, 평가관, 수업 개선관으로 범주화되었다. 남자교사에게서만 체육수업을 받은 학생의 교과관은 성취감을 느낄 수 있는 교과, 재미있는 자유시간이라는 관점이고, 교사관에서는 선생님은 운동을 다 잘한다는 인식과 선생님이 무식하다는 인식이, 평가관에서는 평가가 정확하지 않다는 인식이 나타났다. 수업 개선관에서는 지금까지의 체육 수업 경험에 바탕하여 준비운동이 좀 더 다양하고 흥미롭게 개선되기를 원했고, 체육 수업 시간이 더 늘어났으면 좋겠다는 인식이 나타났다. 여자 교사에게서만 체육 수업을 받은 학생의 교과관에서는 체육 교과는 다음에 쓸모가 없다는 인식이, 교사관에서는 기본기가 약하다는 인식과 수업 시간에 교사가 보이지 않는다는 인식이 나타났다. 평가관에서는 수업 시간에 배운 것과 평가하는 것이 다르다는 인식이 강하게 나타났으며, 체육 수업 개선관에서는 남자 교사와 체육 수업을 하고싶다는 인식과 전담 교사에 의한 체육 수업으로 개선되기를 원했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is intended to analyze the perceptions of students who have experienced the physical education class where the teacher is preponderated in gender, and to observe educational effects and influences in those classes. For the objective, 6 students, 1 male and 1 female students who have been taught physical education classes by only male teachers, and 2 male and 2 female students who have practiced physical education classes where the teachers are only females, from 3rd grade to 6th grade in elementary schools, were participated in this research, and the data were collected through teaching investigation, in-depth interview and method of collecting data and information, Those collected data were analyzed by the methods of constant comparison and inductive analysis, and were identified by triangulation, member check, and peer debriefing for the authority of these data. The perceptions of students who were participated in this research, are categorized as the view towards the subject, teachers, and the view of evaluation and teaching improvement. The result is as follows. Students who have been taught only by male teachers describe physical education class as \ a class that makes students feel achievement\ or \ an exciting free class\ . As the view towards teachers, teachers are regarded not only as \ people who are good at all kinds of sports\ but also as \ ignorant people somehow\ . In the view of evaluation, it is reported that teachers\ assessment is kind of unfair and is not accurate. In the view of study improvement, based on the experience of the physical education classes, it is recognized that students want warming-up exercises to be more various and interesting and physical education class time to be increased more. In contrast, students who have learned only from female teachers report that physical education class is useless as the view for the subject, and as the view towards teachers, students mention that teachers\ basic skills are weak and teachers are not visible in classes. In the view of evaluation it is thought that evaluation is different from what they have learned in classes and as the view of study improvement, students show their wishes to have a class with a male teacher and to have a improved class with the teacher who has the exclusive responsibility of the class.
