The above, I looked into immanent semantic structure in the 「Nirvana」 written by Park Tae-won, 「Nirvana」 brought for essential problems of human beings and their lives by means of the form of framed novel. This novel which is related 'I' of external story with the man of internal one is revealing the descriptive structure following by pain-stroll-meet-sharing (internal story)-realization. Throughout overlapping structure, the author tried to deal with realization, why human beings should be existing, which has human beings fix the true nature of their lives in a way of meeting 'r and the man.
'I' and the man, who are in an empathetic relation as fellow suffe both reveal conflicting and troublesome structurally cognitive react regarding existence and nature. That is, existence, by being engage nature, shows a realistic touch under the tension created by engagement. According to the text, existence and nature are each r codified, respectively, as one, in search of daily routines, conscio choices and regulated life with order and reasoning, the other consisting of non-daily, unconscious, unreasonable, human natur aspects.
Why existence and nature is confronting each other between I and That is due to 'shadow'. 'Shadow', unconscious layers filed up since b is indispensible for a man to reach ideal personality, 'Self' self-realization. The man's shadow is dominated originally by 'Looki the real meaning of life'. For the reason, the man is going throug procedures of reading, contemplating, and self-amusement, but finally he failed to finding out the true meaning of life and killed himself. It means tension between nature and existence is breaking down and precarious balance is up to either nature or existence. more closely, to nature. That's the reason his death is not healthy and his suicide is self-destruction.
I am also under the same situation that nature and existen confronting. however, the way of coping with the difficulty is tot different from the man. 'I' make a conclusion that overcoming human's dilemma of nature and existence is in vain. That is, antagonistic relationship between nature and existence is nullified. The reason 'I' draw conclusion that the man's past life and death is just 'dream' is implied the man's sarcastic way of thinking and in a way it reveals author perception. which is inclined to existence as a result, implying danger of sinking and floating of human life.
In conclusion, there are a novelist. 'I' who seemed the other self of the author and a certain insane man, who are striving for 「Nirvana」, perfection of self, failed to reach the ideal state,「Nirvana」. the writing is about pain and spiritual darkness due to such a failure. In this aspect. 「Nirvana」 written by Park Tae-Won remarkable because it's the first work which tried to make a profound study human existence and it gives a clue to realize author awareness that it's vain for a human to inquire into nature and existence closely.
