      In this study, VTR(Virtual Tourist Resort) on Web is designed and implemented for public relations of sightseeing places in Youngdo-Gu area. The VTR is consists of three services: geographic information service, sightseeing information service, and sightseeing calendar service. The geographic information service provides tourist with tourist routes and tourist facilities in Youngdo-Gu. And tourist can obtain useful sightseeing information from the sightseeing information service. These services contain text, still pictures(JPEG), moving pictures(MPEG), and fine panorama pictures of the sight spots. In the sightseeing calendar service, the schedules of events on the sightseeing places are supplied to the visitors.
