The main purpose of this essay is to clarify the influence of Meyhoki on Konzakumonogatarishyu. (The Miracle Tales of Buddist Statues) as a part of Konzakumonogatarishyu will be discussed. the analysis of other part of the text, ‘the way offaith and respectation towards one's parents' will be followed. The main strategy of editor's policy includes several themes such as distribution of saint and human, ways of self-development as a Buddist's believer and the law of ‘Cause and Result.' The editor used editorial consideration in order to identify his idea with the contents of the original text. This essay is an approach to the essential elements of Konzakumonogatarishyu using the methodology of comparative studies, which focused on the relationship between the original text and recreative adaptation.
