≪근사록(近思錄)≫ 주석서에 나타난 주자설 고찰— 치심(治心) 수양론과의 연관성을 중심으로 = A Study on Zhu Xi’s Theory in Annotation Book of Jin Si Lu: Focusing on the Connection with Mind Cultivation Theory

This paper aims to investigate Zhu Xi’s theory in annotation book of Jin Si Lu, draws out the characteristics and methods of Zhu Xi’s Mind Cultivation Theory. Zhu Xi’s theory in annotation book of Jin Si Lu written by Ye Cai, Kim Jangsaeng, Jiang Yong emphasizes the connection with sincerity and propriety. For example, according to the standards secured in the heart, it maintains a true and sincere heart. Equipped with a mind to properly judge right and wrong, and properly control mind. In previous studies, the metaphysical aspect was emphasized in Zhu Xi’s theory, such as study the principle of all nature, including human nature. This theory is the same as what sage Cheng Yi revealed in Jin Si Lu. However, Zhu Xi’s theory in the annotation book of Jin Si Lu is different from the existing theory. In other words, Zhu Xi spoke of the study leading to the next stage after completing study the principle of all nature. This is a cultivation method that is directly related to daily moral behavior. In this paper, Zhu Xi’s theory was summarized as the concept of Mind Cultivation Theory. Through this, it has academic significance in that it expanded the scope of Zhu Xi’s cultivation theory.
