다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Study focuses on analyzing regarding the contents of the Korean traditional music in the 2008 music textbook for the students with special needs, based on 2007 revised music curriculum in the general education. The objects of the study are as followed.
First, the study identifies the characteristic of the Korean traditional music in the 2008 music textbook for the students with special needs. Second, the study analyzes regarding the contents of the Korean traditional music in the 2008 music textbook for the students with special needs based on the 2007 revised music curriculum in the general education, and identifies problems of the 2008
music textbook through the analyzing. The results of the study are as followed: First, the characteristic and the goals of the music education in the 2008 music textbook for the students with special needs are on the same page, comparing to those of the 2007 revised music curriculum. However, the traditional music in the 2008 music textbook has played typical role, as one of the strategy methods
for the music education. Second, the contents of the traditional music in the 2008 music textbook are consists of the basic and the simple subjects among the traditional music areas in the level of Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ. Moreover The contents of the traditional music education is described based on the less systematic and professional consideration.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 2007 개정 교육과정을 중심으로 하여 2008년 기본교육과정 음악 교과서의 국악 교육의 내용을 분석하고, 그에 따른 문제점을 도출해 보는 것이다. 이에 대한 구체적인 연구 목적은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 2007 개정 음악과 교육과정을 근거로 2008 특수학교 기본교육과정에서의 국악 교육의 특성을 알아본다. 둘째, 2007 개정 음악과 교육과정에 근거한 2008 특수학교 기본교육과정 음악교과서의 국악 내용을 분석하고 문제점을 파악한다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 2008 특수학교 기본교육과정에서의 음악 교육의 성격, 목표, 교과의 특성은 2007 개정 음악과 교육과정의 그것과 같은 차원에서 다루어지고 있다. 그렇지만, 2007 개정 음악과 교육과정에서의 국악 교육이 체계적인 내용을 담고 있는 것에 반해, 기본교육과정은 음악교육의 매개체 역할을 주로 하고 있고, 국악의 내용 면은 매우 간단히 다루는 걸로 분석되었다.
둘째, 2008 기본교육과정 음악 교과서에서의 국악 내용은 Ⅱ, Ⅲ단계에서 매우 한정적이고 단순한 내용으로 다루어지고 있다. 또한, 국악 교육이 체계성이나 전문성의 고려 없이 언급
되고 있다. 실행 면에서는 일반교육에서의 그것과 크게 다른 차이를 나타내지 않고 있다.
