The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of job search behavior, psychological work adjustment and psychological well-being. Also, the verification of mediating roles of psychological work adjustment was another research question. The data collected from a survey of 161 employees in tourism industry was analyzed using a multiple regression. The results revealed that a static and dynamic job search behavior has a positive effect on psychological work adjustment. Second, static job search behavior has an effect on positive psychological well-being and negative psychological well-being. However, dynamic job search behavior only has an effect on positive psychological well-being. Third, psychological work adjustment has an effect on psychological well-being. Last of all, there is a partial mediating effect of psychological work adjustment between job search behavior and negative psychological well-being. These findings imply that psychological work adjustment is important mediating variable and it is need to promote static job search activity for increasing psychological well-being of workers.
