In this study, voltage variation effects on sound level of fire alarm system were examined. Followings are results. Within the voltage band of ±20% from 24V(center) which is standard voltage, the sound pressure level is considered to be stable but in the condition of -20% below voltage dropping, adequate sound pressure level output is not anticipated.
Acoustic equipment which is far from receiver can not fulfill standard sound pressure level output due to voltage dropping and this could cause a problem that fire alarm could not be heard to inhabitants.
