Despite the quantitative expansion of dance art market of Korea in last decade, the raising concern on the crisis of practical field was not reduced. Under the situation like that, it was thought that making management strategies to secure the self-sufficiency of private dance art organizations, and theoretical basis to improve the effectiveness of politic supports were needed. Thus, this study set the purpose to find out the management strategies for successful securement of the self-sufficiency of private dance art organizations. So, to efficiently obtain quantitative materials, the alternative factors were deducted from the collected opinions and the agreements of experts in dance fields by Delphi method. And, to suggest objective alternatives, the management strategies to secure the self-sufficiency of private dance organizations were prioritized by Analytic Hierarchical Process(AHP).
For selecting the expert group as an survey object, scholars, researchers and performance planners were collected, and the study materials were gathered by e-mailing or visiting in twice. The study materials were collected with quantifying questionnaires, and, after each survey steps, the gathered opinions of the experts were integrated and reflected to next steps. The survey results from second survey questionnaires for experts were analysed Content Validity Ratio(CVR) of their each evaluation items by SPSS ver. 18.0, and, proper factors to prioritize the strategies for securing the self-sufficiency of private dance art organizations were deducted.
This study performed another survey with AHP on the expert group who responded Delphi method survey, to secure the fairness and specialty of priority order of the management strategies to secure the self-sufficiency of private dance art organizations from Delphi method. The collected questionnaires were analysed with Expert Choice 2000 program which was specialized for AHP, and the opinions of under .1 inconsistency rate were used for result.
As the results of validity and reliability analyses on total 132 self-sufficiency alternative factors from twice Delphi survey, 26 management strategy factors to secure the self-sufficiency of private dance art organization strategies were deducted. The management strategy factors concerned with <Policy> were 8 ones like ‘continuous support policy on dance organization’, with <Management and Planning> were 7 ones like ‘cultivation of self planning capacity by social cooperative association’, with <Specializing> were 8 ones like ‘analysing characters and specialities by self-evaluation of the organization’, and with <Education> were 3 ones like ‘fosterage of specialized planner’ were deducted. So, the survey results by Delphi method with 2 times investigation were summarized into 4 middle concepts of management strategy factors of <Policy>, <Management and Planning>, <Specializing>, and <Education>, under upper concept of ‘management strategies to secure self-sufficiency of private dance art organization’.
As the results of analyses with AHP on relative importance and weight of last deducted management strategies to secure self-sufficiency of private dance art organization, among management strategy factors of middle concept , <Management and Planning> had the highest importance priority. And among lower management strategy factors of each middle concept factors, ‘continuity of policy and expansion of indirect support’ had the highest importance priority in <Policy>, ‘procuring of capable planner’ in <Management and Planning>, ‘establishment of organization characteristics’ in <Specializing>, and ‘fosterage of specialized planner in dance’ in <Education>. Especially, considering the distribution characteristic of the 5 highest rankers among total 13 management strategy factors, the management strategy factors to secure the self-sufficiency of private dance art organization like <Management and Planning> and <Policy> had relatively higher weight priorities.
