음악교육 관련 웹사이트 연구 = (A) Study on Web Sites Related to Music Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

21세기는 급속히 변화하는 고도정보화사회이다. 이에 맞는 사회적 욕구를 충족시키기 위해서 교육방법에도 변화가 생겼다. 이는 학습자 스스로가 자신의 필요와 욕구가 무엇인지 판단하여 필요한 정보를 선택하고 활용할 수 있는 능력을 중시하는 것으로, 오늘날 학교 교육 현장은 종래의 교사 중심 주입식 암기 위주의 학습에서 탈피하여 수업에 다양한 매체를 활용하고 있다. 특히 컴퓨터의 급속한 발달과 다양한 이용 방법으로 인하여 교육의 정보화, 세계화는 매우 빠르게 진행되어 가고 있다.
사회 전반에 걸쳐 확산되고 있는 정보화의 물결 속에 핵심으로 부상하고 있는 것이 인터넷이다. 흔히 정보의 바다라고 일컬어지는 인터넷은 평생교육, 열린 교육, 수요자 중심의 교육으로 대변되는 현대사회의 교육에 많은 가능성을 제시해 주고 있으며, 특히, 근래에 들어 인터넷의 웹을 교수- 학습 상황에 활용하는 웹기반 수업이 강조되고 있다.
음악교육 분야에 있어서도 음악 학습과정의 일부영역과 과정에서 인터넷을 이용하여 교육적 가능성을 최대한 반영하고 있으며, 그 매체의 실용성을 활용하여 음악교육의 효율성을 높이고 있다.
인터넷 상에는 음악교육 관련 웹사이트들이 무수히 많으며, 음악가, 음악사, 악기, 감상곡 등 방대한 양의 사이트가 조직화 되어 제공된다. 그러나 이러한 사이트들 전부가 교육적으로 긍정적인 영향을 주지는 않는다.
이에 본 연구는 음악교육 관련 사이트들을 검색하여 분류하고 그 검색 결과를 분석하여 현재 음악교육 관련 웹사이트들의 문제점을 개선하고자 한다,
이를 위한 이론적 배경으로 문헌을 통해 웹의 개념, 웹을 활용한 교육, 웹을 활용한 음악교육에 관하여 살펴보았다.
음악교육 관련 사이트를 찾기 위해서 대표적인 한글 검색엔진인 엠파스, 네이버, 야후 코리아를 이용하였고, 검색어는 '음악교육', '음악사', '음악이론', '기악', '성악', '국악'으로 제한하였다.
검색된 결과를 주된 내용에 따라 유아음악교육, 초등음악교육, 중등음악교육, 대학교 학과 및 부설기관 홈페이지, 컴퓨터음악 및 실용음악, 교회음악, 기악, 성악, 국악, 음악치료 ,음악교육가 및 음악교육협회, 음악교육 종합 사이트, 음악교육 관련 매체로 분류하였다.
본 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
방대한 양의 음악교육 관련 웹사이트들이 존재하고 있으나, 이들 사이트들의 보다 전문적이고, 조직적인 분류가 이루어지지 못하고 있었다. 수많은 인터넷 음악교육 관련 사이트 중에서 규모가 작아서 지속적인 존속여부가 불투명한 사이트나 특정목적으로 잠시 만든 사이트, 내용이 부실하거나 새로운 내용의 갱신이 없는 사이트 등을 지속적으로 관리하는 음악교육 포탈 사이트가 제작되어 정보화 시대에 걸맞는 음악교육이 이루어지기를 바라고, 앞으로 보다 나은 방향으로 웹사이트가 구성되어 교사와 학생에게 음악교육의 효율성을 높이는데, 본 연구가 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The 21st century is a rapidly changing, highly advanced information- orientation society. To meet some social demands raised by the society, educational system is changing now. In other words, it is being considered important that learners determine their own needs and demands by themselves and select and use necessary information for themselves. Today the field of school education is utilizing a variety of media avoiding teacher-oriented, cramming education. The rapid development and various applications of computer allow music to be rapidly information-oriented and globalized.
Under information-orientation that is prevailing throughout our society, the key is the Internet. Often called as the ocean of information, the Internet provide many possibilities of modern society education which is characterized by lifelong education, open education and demander-oriented education. Recently, web-based classes in which the Internet web is used for teaching-learning situation are emphasized.
Also in music education, the Internet is being utilized for some parts and procedures of music learning, reflecting its educational possibility to the utmost and raising the effectiveness of music education.
There a number of sites related to music education on the Internet. Such sites provide an enormous quantity of information about musicians, music history, musical instruments and songs for appreciation. But all of them are not positive educationally.
Thus the purpose of this study is to help raise the effectiveness of music education by searching and classifying music education-related sites, analyzing results of the searching and determining problems of the sites and looking for ways of improving the problems.
For the purpose, this researcher first reviewed and discussed the concept of web, web-based education and web-based music education.
To look for music education-related sites, main search engines in Korean language, Empas, Naver and Yahoo Korea were used. Words for search were restricted to 'music education', 'music history', 'music theory', 'instrumental music', 'vocal music' and 'Korean classical music'.
Data obtained from searching the sites were classified in terms of early childhood music education, elementary music education, middle music education, music college and its home page, computer music and practical music, church music, instrumental music, vocal music, Korean classical music, music therapy, music educators, Music Education Association and the total site of music education and media related to music education.
Results of the study can be summarized as follows.
There are numerous sites of music education on the Internet, but they are not properly and systematically classified. To keep pace with the era of information-orientation, music education should be supported by a portal site that manages other sites which are difficult or unclear to be sustained, created temporarily for a particular purpose and not updated and which provide inappropriate information.
