발생적 현상학에서 시간의식과 연상 = Time-Consciousness and Association in Genetic Phenomenology

국문 초록 (Abstract)

발생적 현상학에서 시간의식과 연상은 가장 근본적 차원이므로 이들의 관계를 밝히는 것은 발생적 현상학의 구도를 이해하는데 있어 중요한 의미를 지님에도 불구하고, 후설이나 이후 연구자들은 이에 대해 명료하게 해명하지 않았다. 물론 후설 자신이 시간의식과 연상이 형식과 내용 관계를 맺는다고 주장하는 부분이 있으며, 홀렌슈타인은 이에 기초하여 연상이 시간의식을 보충하고 완성하는 기능을 한다고 주장하지만, 이러한 주장들은 후설 자신의 구체적 분석에 의해서 의문시된다. 특히 『수동적 종합 분석』의 예지 분석에 의거하면, 예지 자체가 연상 법칙에 따라 발생함을 알 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 초월론적 현상학, 특히 발생적 현상학에서 근원적 시간의식이 이처럼 연상 법칙에 의해 발생함을 확인하고, 이에 근거하여 형식/내용 이분법이 특히 발생적 현상학의 근원적 차원에서는 폐기되어야 함을 주장한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In order to understand systematic constellations of the genetic phenomenology, it is indispensible to clarify the relations between time-consciousness and association, insofar as they are the most fundamental dimensions of consciousness from the genetic point of view. Nevertheless, Husserl and other researchers after him did not make this point clear, and this point remains as a desideratum. Husserl occasionally argued that time-consciousness and association have a relation of form-content, and Holenstein argued that association supplements and completes time-consciousness. However, Husserl himself is sometimes skeptical about such arguments. In particular, according to analyses of protention in his Analysis Concerning Passive Synthesis, protention is considered as being generated by associative laws. This paper shows that the fundamental time-consciousness is generated by these associative laws and the dichotomy of formcontent should be avoided especially on the most fundamental dimension of genetic phenomenology.
