우리나라 보험범죄의 실태와 제도적 대응방향 = A Study on Insurance Crime and Institutional Countermeasure

In the wake of insurance industry growth Korea has been of late faced with a increasing illegal risk of private insurance. Especially the new features of insurance crime have recently appeared not only in the private sector but in the public sector(as a public insurance crime). That is, with the spread of social security system social insurance crime looks to be on the increase. In the perspective of new institutionalism, this study gropes for formal and informal countermeasures against private insurance crime and social insurance crime. In sum, this study offers some suggestions which comprise the improvement of laws and the securing of specialized bureau and manpower in the phase of institutional design. Moreover, it proposes the building of advanced information system, the establishment of governance among the interested, and the promotion of informed compliance in the phase of institutional implementation.
