The concept of the 'Intelligent Building' (IB) is a recent development in building technology. It involves the utilization of various new types of cutting - edge technologies, such as tele-communication, office-automation, and building management, in the building design. The area of research in this paper is the field of office buildings, as their designs are changed with the idea of the 'Intelligent Building'. These new types of office buildings are called 'intelligent', because they provide an environment which enhances the creative productivity of the office workers inside. Various aspects of the 'Intelligent Building', such as the interior design, tele-communication, organization, corporate culture, and psychologh are explored in this paper.
