국내·외 음악대학 플루트 전공 입시곡 분석 = Analysis of entrance exam music for flute majors at domestic and foreign music colleges

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 지난 10년 동안 국내의 음악대학 플루트 입시지정곡의 현황과 출제 경향 밝히고 이를 미국의 주요 음악대학의 입시지정곡과 비교·분석하여 플루트를 대학에서 전공하고자 하는 입시생들에게 음악대학 입학에 유용한 정보를 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 지난 2014년부터 2024년까지 10년 동안 플루트 전공을 개설하고 있는 국내의 서울과 수도권의 대학 중 입시곡을 지정하는 8개 대학을 선정하여 각 대학의 입시지정곡을 분석하였으며, 이를 미국의 주요 음악대학 3개 학교의 입시지정곡과 비교·분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 플루트 입시 지정곡은 낭만음악시대에 해당하는 작품이 77개(39.4%)로 가장 많았으며, 그 뒤로 고전음악시대(50개; 25.3%), 20세기 음악시대(49개; 24.8%)인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 모차르트 플루트 협주곡 K.313이 총 61개의 작품가운데 38번 출제되어 가장 많이 출제된 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 20세기 음악은 26개의 작품 중, 18개의 작품이 한번씩 출제되어 입시생들의 새로운 곡에 대한 연주능력을 평가하고 있었다. 넷째, 미국은 필수지정곡과 선택적, 제한적 지정곡 모두를 사용하여 한국에 비해 좀더 다양한측면에서 입시생을 평가하고 있었다. 마지막으로, 상위권 대학을 준비하는 학생들은 초견과 스케일에 대한 준비가 필요하며, 지정곡이 아닌 자유곡을 스스로 선정하더라도 앞에 분석된 지정곡들의 특징을 중심으로 연습하고 준비하는 것이 효과적이라 판단된다. 본 연구결과가 성공적인 음악대학 입시를 위해 준비하는 교사와 학생들에게 도움이 되기를 바란다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify the current status and trend of music college flute entrance examinations in Korea over the past decade, and to compare and analyze them with music works designated by major music colleges in the United States to provide useful information for college admission to music colleges for college entrance. To this end, eight universities in Seoul and the metropolitan area, which have been opening flute majors for 10 years from 2014 to 2024, were selected to analyze the music designated for entrance exams by each university, and compared and analyzed with the music designated for entrance exams by three major music universities in the United States. The results of this study are as follows. First, 77 pieces (39.4%) corresponded to the era of romantic music, followed by the era of classical music (50; 25.3%) and the era of music (49; 24.8%) in the 20th century. Second, Mozart's Flute Concerto in G major (K.313) appeared to be the most frequently presented, appearing 38 times out of a total of 61 works. Third, among the 26 pieces of the 20th century presented as entrance exam songs, 18 were presented only once. It implies that music faculties want to measure students' performance skills about new music. Fourth, the United States used both mandatory and optional and limited music pieces to evaluate entrance exam applicants in more diverse aspects than Korea. Lastly, students preparing for top universities need to prepare for sight reading and scale, and even if they choose their own song rather than a designated song, it is judged to be effective to practice and prepare focusing on the characteristics of the designated songs analyzed previously. We hope that the results of this study will be helpful to teachers and students preparing for successful music college entrance exams.
