민속의 재구와 지역사회의 혁신 – 청주시 수곡동의 실천 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

신자유주의적 모순이 심화ㆍ확산되고 있는 현 시대적 조건 속에서, 민속은 공동체문화로 변화ㆍ재구됨과 동시에 대안성을 가진 문화적 실천으로 부상ㆍ전개되고 있다. 이 연구는 공동체문화 실천으로 표현될 수 있는 민속의 현재성을 살폈다. 특히 공동체문화 실천이 현재적 효과 가운데 하나로 이해될 수 있는 사회혁신과 관련하여, 청주시 수곡동의 실천 사례에 주목했다.
청주시 수곡동의 실천 사례는, 민속의 현대적 변환으로서 공동체문화 그리고 그 사회혁신적 양태를 살피는 데 유용한 특성을 보여주고 있다. 실천 주체들은 돌봄 체계의 부재 속에서 실존을 위협받던 지역의 아이들을 보살피기 위해 ‘사례회의’, ‘목요놀이’ 등의 공동체문화 실천을 수행했다. 그 결과 많은 지역의 아이들을 돌봄의 영역으로 이끌어낼 수 있었다. 주목되는 것들은, 실천의 핵심 원리ㆍ소재로서 민속의 고전적 형태 즉 마을문화와 민속놀이가 활용되었다는 것, 그리고 민ㆍ관의 공동체적 협력 속에서 실천이 기획ㆍ수행되었다는 것이다. 이는 사회혁신으로 표현될 수 있는 공동체문화이자, 현재성과 대안성을 갖는 민속이 사례로 논해질 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Within the condition of nowadays, which contradiction of neo-liberalistic intensified and spreaded folklore became community culture by transformation and reconstitution, while emerged and developed for cultural practice, having alternativeness. This study examined present aspect of folklore, which can be expressed for community culture practice. Especially, related with social innovation, interpreted as community culture’s current effects, it focused on a practical case of Sugok-dong in Cheongju-si.
Practical case of Sugok-dong in Cheongju-si shows useful attribute to inspect community culture as current transformation of folklore and it’s aspect for social innovation. Practical subjects performed community culture practice such as ‘Case conference’ and ‘Mokyo-Nori’ to look after the children of this region, who were threatened their existence by absence of care system. As a result, many children could be drawn to care domain. There are two points to notice. One is using of village culture and folklore play, which is a classical form of folklore, as core principle and subject of practice. the other is cooperating of folk and government, to plan and fulfill the practice. It can be discussed for community culture, expressed as social innovation, and case of folklore having current aspect and alternative.
