The purpose of this study is to find out the factor that effects the most and look for suggestions to Social Emotion Behaviors of children to analize the relationship between Personal, Familiar and Neighbourhood variables on young children according to region and Social Emotion Behaviors.
The major research problems are as below.
First, What is the relationship between Personal, Familiar, Neighbourhood variables on young children and social emotion behaviors of them?
Second, What is the difference of Personal, Familiar, Neighbourhood variables on young children according to their region?
Third, What is the variable that effects the most to young childrens' regional Social Emotion Behaviors?
The participants of this research were 3 to 5 children attending day-care center in A and B district. The 410 surveys were distributes to teachers and parents of children and 200 lastly surveys were used as the final analisis materials in the end. The survey reliability estimates Cronbach's a correlation.
The resources of this study treated statistically using SPSS WIN 18.0. This reasearch estimates Cronbach's a correlation to find out the reliability and validity of measurement tool. The collected resources were estimated by descriptive statistic with average and standard deviation, frequency and skewness, kurtosis to find out general tendency of itselves. This study conducted correlation to analize effection of Personal, Familiar, Neighbourhood variables and t-test to find out differences of Familiar, Neighbourhood variables according to the region where children live. For estimates the factors that effect the most to Social Emotion Behaviors of children, the study used Stepwise Regression by regional groups.
The result of this study can be summarized as follows.
First, with regard to the first question of this study, about young childrens' personal variables, the age gets lower the internal bahavior problem and external behavior problem gets lower. Prosociality and internal behavior problem are different depends on the gender. The result shows that the more childrens' school entry age higher, the more interna;/external nehavior problem lower. Spending thime in day-care center gets longer, childrens' internal/external bahavior problem gets higher. Additionally, the more neighbourhood attachment higher, the more childrens' internal behavior problem lower and prosociality higher.
Second, prosociality, internal behavior problem-depressive, external behavior problem- oppositional, family environment and neighbourhood rasing environment, neighbourhood environment showed high A district which has high regional environment. Also, social sidorer and neighbourhood amenities showed high B district which has low regional environment.
Lastly, the research shows that the neighbourhood attachment effects the most to childrens' prosociality. To their internal behavior problem, childrens' first entry age, neighbourhood attachment, age of mothers', education level of mothers'. Also, the gender and the first entry age effects to childrens' external behavior problem. Another result that this research show that gender, period that children staying in the day-care center and monthly incom effects the children in B district. Their external behavior problem influenced by gender and the first entry age.
This study has the meaning of introducing the importance of childrens' Personal, Familiar, Neighbourhood variables that is unfamiliar in domestic fiel so far, analizing the factor effects the most to the childrens' Social Emotion Behavior with Stepwise Regression. Also, this research shows that which variables effects the childrens' Social Emotion Behavior and guides to solve the problem. From this study, it can be expected to search the specific way that the parents and day-care center teachers may help to solve childrens' Social Emotion Behavior problems.
