Purpose: This study aims to identify the mediating effects of customer satisfaction on the relationship between bowling alley service quality and customer revisitation intentions.
Method: The research involved 234 members of a bowling club in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, South Korea, in September 2023. Data were analyzed using frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling with SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 18.0.
Results: The results of this study were as follows. First, the service quality of the bowling alley had a positive effects on satisfaction. Second, the service quality of the bowling alley had a positive effects on the revisitation intentions. Third, the bowling alley customers’satisfaction had a positive effect on the intention to revisit. Fourth, the satisfaction mediated the relationship between the service quality of the bowling alley and the revisitation intentions.
Conclusion: The study concludes that improving service quality and enhancing customer satisfaction are critical for encouraging revisits to the bowling alley, thereby generating revenue. This underscores the importance of service quality and customer satisfaction in the recreational service industry.
