In this paper, proposed for development of the PCR (polymerize chain reaction) machine using fuzzy logic controllers(FLC).
Designed PCR machine was consist of thermoelectric cooling (Peltier element), hardware(micro computer), firmware(FLC) and user interface(RS232C communication etc.) parts.
The purposed scheme consist of the FLC which includes the PI type controller, and control efforts were calculated by fuzzy inference engine using look-up table methods.
Proposed controller system was implemented by 87526BH micro computer systems which composed by real time clock, LCD monitor and key pad parts for user interface.
Experiments were performed to show the effectiveness of a development system, proposed system’s maximum overshoot and steady state error size were within ±1[°C], ±0.1[°C] scale.
