현대악곡분석을 통한 중등음악수업에 대한 시사 = Implications for Secondary Music Classes through Analysis of Contemporary Music

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis focuses on the concerto for orchestra by British composer Michael Tippett, in order to expand the range of appreciation of modern music in secondary education and to develop a new repertoire. This composition reveals how musically the collage of visual arts is applied. Characterization is made here to create a variety of independent sounds that make up a collage. The orchestra is divided into musical instrument groups to characterize the timbre, musical topic, texture, and speed. It also explores how the instrumental groups in the composer’s own opera King Priam is transformed and cited in his Concerto for Orchestra.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 중등교육에서 현대음악의 감상 범위 확대와 새로운 레파토리의 개발을 위하여 영국의 현대음악 작곡가 마이클 티펫의 <<오케스트라를 위한 협주곡>>을 집중적으로 소개한다. 이 곡에서 시각예술의 콜라주를 어떻게 음악적으로 적용했는지 밝힌다. 여기에서 콜라주를 이루는 다양한 독립적인 소리를 만들기 위하여 특징짓기를 하는데 오케스트라를 악기그룹으로 나누어서 음색, 음악토픽, 짜임새, 빠르기에 있어서 특징을 짓는다. 또한, 이들 악기그룹이 작곡가 본인의 오페라<<프리암 왕>>에서 어떻게 변형되어 인용되었는지 알아본다.
