연구논문 : 고봉(高峰) 기대승(奇大升)의 인간학(人間學) 고찰(考察) = An Study on the Gi Gobong`s the view of Human being

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 고봉 기대승의 인간관에 관한 연구로, 필자는 존재론적 관점과 도덕적 관점으로 나누어서 살펴보았다. 먼저 고봉은 존재론적으로 인간을 자연적 인간(Homo-Natural)로 보고, 그 구체적 내용을 천인합일(天人合一)과 천인감응(天人感應)으로 설명하였다. 다음으로 도덕적 인간관으로서 고봉의 심통성정(心統性情)과 사단칠정 인심도심론을 연구하였다. 특히 인간의 도덕적 행위의 주체가 되는 心·性·情·意의 개념과 역할에 대한 고봉의 이론을 자세하게 살펴보았다. 고봉은 인간의 보편적 정서인 사단과 칠정 등은 性에 내재되어 있지만 이들을 구체적으로 실현하고 실천하는 주체는 마음이라고 주장하였다. 고봉의 인간관에 관한 연구를 통하여 인간의 주체적 자아의 모습과 타자와의 소통근거에 대한 형이상학적 인식가능성을 확인하였다. 상호간의 소통을 위하여 고봉은 마음의 역할을 매우 중시한다. 왜냐하면 마음이 도덕적 행위의 주체이기 때문이다. 이러한 고봉의 인간관은 자연적 인간(Homo-Natural)의 의미와 도덕적 인간(Homo-Moralis)의 의미를 종합한 우주적 인간(Homo-Cosmic)으로 이해할 수 있다.

In this article, I studied Gobong(高峰) Gi, Daeseung(奇大升. 1527 - 1572)`s the view of a human being. In there I researched that by ontological and moral viewpoint. First, Gobong thought that the Human being is Homo-natural being, and explained it concretely with "the theory that the heaven and human beings have same inner principle(天人合一)" and "inductive correlation between heaven and man(天人感應)". Secondly, studied Gobong`s "the theory of xin tong xing qing(心統性情)", "the theory of the Four Origins(四端) and the Seven Emotions(七情)" and "the will of people and pure mind(人心道心)". Specially, researched about the perception of Mind(心), human nature(性), emotions(情) and thinking(意) in Gobong`s the moral view of human being. As result, Gobong emphasized that "the Four Origins and the Seven Emotions" exist in the Human nature(性), and the Mind take the initiative in doing the Four Origins and the Seven Emotions. In this Study, I found a sense of true sovereignty and the possibility of mutual understanding ing Gobong`s metaphysical epistemology. And Gobong emphasized the role of Mind for mutual understanding. Because the Mind is the main body of moral behavior. So, I conclude the Gobong`s the view of human being is "the Homo-Cosmic" synthesizing "the Homo-Natural" and "the Homo-Moralis".
