VAV(Variable Air Volume) is the main cooling and heating system in the interior zone of office building. For improving control performance of the damper operated VAV system, prevalent control system and related researches were evaluated. In this study, damper control which determine a proper air volume supply time by inference using fuzzy model was proposed. The suggested control was verified through experimental study. With two identical zone in an intelligent building, the performance of fuzzy control and PI control were evaluated under the same conditions.
