연령통합척도 개발 및 타당성 연구 = Development and Validation of a Scale to Measure Age Integration

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 연령통합의 개념을 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하고 이의 타당도를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 국내외 문헌을 검토하고 전문가 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 통해 연령통합 현상을 나타내는 다차원적인 문항으로 예비문항 33개를 개발하였다. 전국의 시도에 거주하는 45세 이상 남녀 700명을 대상으로 33개의 문항에 대한 타당도 검증을 하였다. 전체 문항 간 상관관계가 낮은 1개 문항을 제거한 후 32개 문항에 대한 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 5개 요인의 28개 문항이 최종적으로 연령통합문항으로 구성되었다. 지역사회에서의 세대교류, 연령무관한 고용 및 사회보장제도, 연령무관한 사회참여의 기회, 가족 내 세대교류, 고령친화 인프라 등 5개 하위요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발한 연령통합척도는 연령통합의 개념을 측정하는데 타당한 것으로 나타났으며, 향후 후속연구를 통한 척도의 검증작업이 활발히 이루어질 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to develop and validate a scale to measure the concept of age integration. Literature review, Focus Group Interview and survey of experts in the area of social work and gerontology were conducted to develop 33 preliminary questions of age integration with various levels. A total of 700 people (male:350, female:350) over the age of 45 were responded to a questionnaire to validate this scale. The results were as follows. One of the 33 questions was deleted as it was found to have low correlations with all the other questions. Through the exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory analysis, and reliability analysis of final 32 questions, 5 factors composed of 28 items were extracted: `cross generational interaction in community`, `age-irrelevant opportunity in the employment and benefits of social security systems`, `age-irrelevant opportunity of social participation`, `cross generational interaction with family`, and `age-friendly infrastructure`. The results revealed that the age integration scale developed by this study has proved valid to measure the concept of age integration. Further studies would be required to confirm the validity of the scale.
