‘향당교주’ 아명(雅名), 중국 악곡명과의 비교 검토 = A literary Study on 『Hyangdang-gyoju』 Music Title - focused on Feb. 1828, newly composed title and renovated title

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 지금까지 알려진 『향당교주』가 한 악곡명, 또는 향악기와 당악기의 혼합편성이라는 점, 나아가 조선후기 정재의 반주곡이라는 특징 외에, 또 다른 이면의 실체를 찾아보고 아명이 붙여진 배경을 문헌을 통해 검토해보는 것이다. 1828년 2월 자경전 내진작부터 폭발적으로 증가한 『향당교주』의 39개 아명을 중국문헌과 비교하여 검토해 본 결과, 자경전 내진작의 『향당교주』의 아명은 중국의 악곡명과 동일한 경우, 중국의 악곡명을 소략적으로나마 개칭한 경우, 새로운 악곡명을 창제한 경우가 있다.
그 중에서 이 글에서는 1828년 자경전 내진작에서 중국의 악곡명을 개칭하여 사용한 아명을 중국의 문헌을 통하여 비교해 보았다. 즉 개칭된 아명곡은 『만년락지곡』ㆍ『금전만년환지곡』ㆍ『앵천류지곡』ㆍ『염외화지곡』ㆍ『헌천하지곡』ㆍ『경선화지곡』ㆍ『장생락지곡』ㆍ『수제천지곡』ㆍ『경수락지곡』ㆍ『천선자지곡』ㆍ『유초신지곡』ㆍ『승평악지곡』ㆍ『수연장지곡』ㆍ『청평악지곡』ㆍ『장생보연지악』ㆍ『수천춘지곡』ㆍ『요계락지곡』ㆍ『경방춘지곡』ㆍ『희신춘지곡』ㆍ『만화신지곡』 이상 20곡인데, 이 아명들의 출처와 용도, 그리고 연향의 성격을 통하여 『향당교주』에 사용하게 된 배경을 살펴본 것이다. 따라서 1828년 2월, 자경전 내진작에 사용된
『향당교주』 아명은 중국의 악곡명을 수용하고 이를 새롭게 변화시키려는 의도를 지니고 있었으며, 이는 나아가 『향당교주』에 대한 객관적이고 폭넓은 이해를 하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis focused on the comparative examination on the 「Hyangdang-gyoju」, which shows one song title name, but mixture of national music instrument and chinese Tang music instrument, furthermore which revealed late Choseon dynasty Jeongjae accompaniment music and the background of the composition of the music as the title in the literature. The result of the analysis revealed that the comparative analysis of the title 39 music titles in 「Hyangdang-gyoju」 which have been explosively increased the title name in Feb. 1828 in Jagyeongjeon Naejinjak with Chinese music title, the name of 「Hyangdang-gyoju」 name in Jagyeongjeon Naejinjak renovated Chinese music literature but was created as new music Korean music note.
The newly titled anme of music as of 1828 Jagyeongjeon Naejinjak were 「Ohun-Gayuk-yongjigok」ㆍ「Seongunmuwon-jigok」ㆍ「Hwangsangkil-jigok」ㆍ「Ungnyeon-jigok」ㆍ「eosan-jigok」ㆍ「aepyeong-chunjigok」ㆍ「uhilhqa-jigok」ㆍ「ansu-jangrak-jigok」ㆍ「ongchui-jigok」 or more than 90 musics, which have meaning of ceremony at the time.
The renovated name of the music title from Chinese music were 「Mannyeon-jirakgok」ㆍ「eumjeon-mannyeon-jigok」ㆍ「ngcheonryu-jigok」ㆍ「eomyoihwa-jigok」ㆍ「eoncheonha-jigok」ㆍ「yeongseonhwa-jigok」ㆍ「angsengrak-jigok」ㆍ「ujaecheon-jigok」ㆍ「yeongsurak-jigok」ㆍ「heonseonja-jigok」ㆍ「uchoshin-jigok」ㆍ「eungpyoungak-jigok」ㆍ「uyeonjang-jigok」ㆍ「heongpyeongak-jigok」ㆍ「angsengboyeon-jiak」ㆍ「ucheonchun-jigok」ㆍ「ogaerak-jigok」ㆍ「yeongbangcun-jigok」ㆍ「uishinchun-jigok」ㆍ「anhwashin-jigok」 as 20 musics. These title of music were reviewed in the origination, usage, and characteristics of the performance in the 「Hyangdang-gyoju」.
As a result of the analysis, this study illustrated the understanding of the Korean music in Feb. 1828, 「Hyangdang-gyoju」 in Jagyeongjeon Naejinjak music tide, which revealed mixture of the existing name and new name as 「Hyangdang-gyoju」 for more deep understanding of the concept of the music.
