During the course of screening of the antagonistic bacteria against Ralstonia solanacearum, a pathogen of the bacterial wilt disease, TS 3-7 strain was isolated from the rhizosphere soil of healthy tomato plants. TS 3-7 strain reduced the bacterial wilt disease significantly both by seed treatment and soil drench. TS 3-7 strain produced siderophore, which was detected by using the universal siderophore detection medium CAS agar. According to Bergey`s Manual of Systemic Bacteriology and 16 S rDNA sequence data, this strain was identified as Pseudomonas sp.
